Unlike traditional stirrups, the Stübben MDC stirrup has a rotating joint at the top which allows the stirrup to be adjusted at an angle of 45 or 90 degrees. Thus the stirrup is always in the correct position and will reduce the pressure of the stirrup leather on shinbone, knee and hip. It may even reduce or eliminate existing pains. This means more riding comfort, easier access to the stirrup when mounting and a reduced risk of injuries.
