Designed to create more separation between the curb and bridoon, thus allowing independent rein aids, reducing the possibility of trapping. Our published scientific research (Cross, G.H. et al., Journal of Equine Veterinary Science 48 (2017) 129–135) has shown when using double bridles it is not uncommon for the two bits to become trapped so when the rider is employing the bridoon, in fact the curb is inadvertently acting.
Recommended for extra lift without palate interference, occupying little room in the mouth, as research has shown the oral cavity is smaller than originally thought.
This slim, tongue bridged mouthpiece gives the degree of lift needed to free up the shoulder, enabling the rider to ask for the more advanced movements.
