Glucosamine used together with MSM may provide additional support for horses with symptoms of discomfort associated with osteoarthritis.
Suggested daily dose: 2g per 100kg bodyweight
1 heaped teaspoon = 6g (300kg pony)
1 level tablespoon = 12g (600kg horse)
Start with a double dose for a loading period of 7 days.
Split daily dose between 2 feeds if possible.
Seek veterinary opinion before use when horse is on medications for pain and inflammation.
